During 2022 and 2023 there were several rule changes that I had posted about the cost of visiting Bhutan however the latest change as of September 1, 2023 has significantly simplified the sustainable development fee (SDF) to be $100/day per person.

Any old posts that you find referring to 4+4, 7+7, etc are all removed and the $200/day rate is now cut in half.

With this these changes we are able to offer tour packages that are somewhat similar to their pre-pandemic levels when we were computing based on the minimum price.
